British Aikido Association Membership
Membership to the B.A.A. is expected within a month from starting and unfortunately you will not be able to continue training without it.
B.A.A. membership is required:
- To be be covered by insurance for training
- To do gradings (promotional examinations)
- To take part in national events

![]() | After a few classes we recommend that you obtain a training uniform or “Gi” for training. Wearing a Gi helps you make a mental and physical transition for training, is practical, and gives a sense of “FITTING IN” in sooner. |
